At the Breast Reduction Center of Excellence, we aim to offer the highest level in healthcare while also helping to do good for those in need. To do that, we’ve partnered with the Susan G. Komen fund as well as the The Army Women.
About the Susan G. Komen Fund
The Susan G. Komen fund started in 1982 as a movement designed to fuel the scientific research into a cure for breast cancer. Since then, it has played a key role in advancing the battle against breast cancer, both in transforming how people think about the disease and by helping millions of breast cancer patients get the detection and treatment they need to survive. Events such as the Komen Race for the Cure have also helped invest billions of dollars into ground-breaking breast cancer research, community health outreach, and advocacy programs in more than 50 countries around the globe.
The Army of Women
The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation’s Army of Women is a non-profit organization dedicated to identifying how breast cancer begins and working to expand breast cancer prevention. It does this through funding innovative research and community engagement. The goals of the Army of Women are to recruit more people for breast cancer studies and to push the scientific community toward better breast cancer prevention.
